This was filmed between the 4th and 11th of April, 2011. It is filmed on Spain’s highest mountain, El Teide. It is considered to be one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars.

I do live in a beautiful country, don’t I.

This video is amazing. It reminds me of my teen years, sneaking out at midnight to watch the stars turn in rural Oregon. Although I am lucky enough to live in a city that uses low pressure sodium lights, it just isn’t the same. Thank you for this little piece of home.

Strategies to Reduce Stress and Avoid Burn Out

Burnouts are never fun, but they happen frequently to overachievers like myself. In fact, I’m coming down off a nasty cycle of it, which is why I thought I’d pass this article around. While a lot of the strategies are common sense, it can be difficult to have enough perspective to remember important things like sleeping, eating regularly, and realizing that not every task needs to be done to perfection!
